purchased many wheeled backpacks in the past for my son who is
in 6th grade. This is the first wheeled backpack that is large
enough, easy to handle and looks good to boot! We can only
hope that it is durable. We'll write in a few months to let
you know. We are very pleased with our purchase. The item is
nice in appearance but lacks practicle compartment space. I
find that I am only able to place 2 texts or 3 notebooks into
the backpack and this is only having a few misc. items in the
front pocket. In addition, if I cram any additional books into
the unit, the entire back pack is collapsing over on the floor
onto the front of the zipper compartments and not standing
erect. I do not feel this product adequately houses enough
room to be utilized for the college level work with the
dimensions prescribed and this should be noted in the listing.
I am sadly disappointed in the product. While we have
previously had great experiences with Jansport rolling
backpacks - including an older Driver8 - this backpack broke
within only the first four weeks of use! First, one of the
"feet" broke off, and then after only two months of use the
"spine" of the rolling pack broke completely in half! Not sure
if this one back pack was just a "lemon", or if different
materials were used in 2005 for the Driver 8 (our 2004 version
of the Driver 8 is still going strong and looks great in year
#2 of use!). |
